Its tough to make a team of 15 players within 100m budget. Here are few limited budgeted players who can provide decent amount of points in cheap price.
Goal keeper
Ben Foster (West Bromwich Albion) - £4.5m
Cheap, Experienced and PL proved. Best fixtures of any GK (BOU BUR STO BHA WHU). Tony Pulis is in charge and values clean sheets. The English international is really cheap options for FPL bosses. Foster is a solid keeper, playing in a solid defensive minded team with cheap price, it’s definitely worth a shot.
Asmir Begovic (Bournemouth) - £4.5m
At 6ft 5in tall he is a unit between the sticks and is almost classed as a traditional goalkeeper who had a great run with Stoke City. He possesses key attributes such as handling, positioning, and distributions for counter attacks. AFC Bournemouth’s opening fixtures are as follows; West Bromwich Albion (A), Watford (H), Man City (A), Arsenal (H) and Brighton (H). which may prove good for the big Bosnian who is desperate for some game time.
Defenders
Simon Francis (Bournemouth) - £4.5m
Last season has shown that Bournemouth's defense can be a potential attacking threat. Simon Francis is a budget friendly way to a defense with an attacking mindset. With 10 clean sheets to their name this center back can be a viable pick. Easy openers have convinced me to bring him into the squad. They'll be playing West Brom and Watford, who aren't that good when comes to scoring goals.
Maya Yoshida (Southampton) - £5.0m
Being any club fan we always try and include our own team's players, but Saints fixtures, in my opinion, are too good to ignore from gw2-6. Need to take into account Southampton’s 11 clean sheets last season.
Tommy Smith (Huddersfield Town) - £5.0m
4 goals and 10 assists (joint second) in the Championship last season. Huddersfield’s ability to keep clean sheets is poor but the lad is known for his attacking mindset. Next Charlie Daniels and Gareth McAuley in the making considering fantasy football bosses will be highly appreciated who being a defender can defend, attack and score simultaneously.
DeAndre Yedlin (Newcastle United) - £4.5m
A sure starter with 1 goal and 5 assists the American right back, DeAndre Yedlin can be quite a turnout. He also tends to move forward a lot. Newcastle was able to keep 19 successful clean sheets making them a team with a reliable defense line and having a fairly decent fixture except for their opening game against Spurs. They will be playing against Spurs (H), Huddersfield (A), West Ham (H), Swansea (A), and Stoke (H)
Harry Maguire (Leicester City) - £5.0m
Although a defender but his surging up the pitch, and pinpoint positioning allowing him to take chances in front of goal. He scored 2 goals and assisting two from his 32 appearances for Hull City. With his agility, air ability, and his good positioning he can earn more FPL points this season with the Foxes.
Midfielders
Nathaniel Chalobah (Watford) - £4.5m
He would have received assurances of first team football I reckon So at 4.5 turns out to be some potential cheap gems. In the right system, he is a baller. He will be a starter all season.
Anthony Knockaert (Brighton and Hove Albion) - £6.0m
Although injured but expected to return for the opening week. The lad was able to score 15 goals and 8 assists making him a decent pick. He is guaranteed irrespective of Brighton’s transfer activity. Despite a tough opener against Manchester City, West Brom (H), Bournemouth (A) and Newcastle (H) round off Brighton’s first 6 fixtures and Knockaert could well prove to be a cheap goal-scoring mid.
Vicente Iborra (Leicester City) - £6.0m
The first question is why defensive midfielder? At 6’3, he will play an important role as a target man on set-pieces and corner. Despite being an irregular starter at Sevilla he managed to score seven goals even netted a hat-trick against Celta Vigo. He is dubbed the ‘Spanish Fellaini’ by the Leicester Mercury.
Matt Ritchie (Newcastle United) – £6.0m
Ritchie was directly involved in 19 of Newcastle’s league goals while he scored 12 times. He also has previous experience in the Premier League. He has a major role in set-piece and also a key penalty taker.
Davy Klaassen (Everton) - £7.5m
The Dutch international has scored 14 goals and 9 assists in his 2016- 17 season. With Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas the two major midfield men for Everton last season while the latter one having a performance problem and the first one having personal issues with Everton boss Koeman it is certain the Oranje midfielder is ready to lift up to his transfer fees for the Toffees. His finishing and through balls as his key strengths.
Forward
Dwight Gayle (Newcastle United) - £6.5m
23 goal-Dwight Gayle in the Championship last season behind Chris Wood in the top scorer list. He is also experienced in the premier league. Huddersfield, West Ham, Swansea, Stoke, and Brighton provide the opposition in 5 of the first 6 fixtures of Newcastle taking Gayle into the consideration of FPL bosses.
Jay Rodriguez (West Bromwich Albion) - £6.0m
The potential he showed over the past years Jay Rod was a striker with panache. But ruined due to the injury he suffered against Man City but a fresh start is all he needs to revive his potential and growth. With World Cup next year he might give his best to catch Gareth Southgate's eyes with injury free season and successful campaign.
Kelechi Iheanacho - £7.0m
Scored 12 goals in the Premier League from just 19 shots on target which is not only a dream for any striker but also shows how accurate his conversion skill is. With rumor circulating him moving to Leicester City, it is pretty sure he is certain to leave Pep's squad and I think he will get Leicester or any other club he moves to 15+ goals next season.
Sandro Ramirez (Everton) - £7.5m
Sandro Ramirez scored 14 goals for Malaga last season which is relatively a poor side in La Liga. He scored 3 free kicks goal as well showing his set-piece skills. It is to be mentioned Sandro Ramirez could be a great buy, but only after gameweek 6 as Everton has tough first few fixtures.
