The Men Behind is back again. This time we will be keeping things short. Our expert panels have finally come up with the perfect fantasy team to start this season. This team will be playing alongside you for the whole season. Each and every change will be given before the gameweek along with proper reasons defending our picks. Stay tuned.
David De Gea (Manchester United) - £5.5m
The Manchester United man in front of the bars is an easy pick for the first 5 gameweeks. They'll be playing against Swansea, Leicester, Everton, Stoke and West Ham. A solid defensive line comprised of Baily, Lindelof Valencia makes Manchester United defense a hard nut to crack. Plus Mou's defensive tactics are well written in the history of football. His shot stopping reflexes, concentration and has shown great skill in stopping close range shots over the past years. With impressive 14 clean sheets attached to his records last season De Gea the man, you can go for without having any second thoughts.
Kyle Walker (Manchester City) - £6.5m
The second most expensive defender in the moment cannot be ignored. The right back although was injured almost the whole season but had an amazing run in the pre season matches. Expert at aerial duels and his ability to make intercept the ball makes him every attacker's nightmare. There is not much to say about him. The amazing fixture, fine form and his tendency to move up front have convinced us to pick him in our side.
Cédric Soares (Southampton) - £5.0m
Southampton defense is a must pick for the opening matches of the premier league. They are one of the teams with the easiest fixture. So one just can't avoid Southampton defenders. We went for Cedric Soares over the likes of Bertrand, Yoshida and last season's budget pick Jack Stephens. Cedric Soares, a sure starter and has the tendency of scoring and assisting frequently. he is equally good at take ons and ball interception. He had 3 assists to his name last season and went home with a huge chunk of bonus points
Ahmed El-Sayed Hegazi (West Bromwich Albion) - £4.5m
This is a man with a tall posture. You just can't ignore his height as he poses an excellent threat to score goals using his head. He will start and has no possibility of being benched. it is also well known most of the goals of this team are scored by defenders and with the absence of McAuley, Evans, and Brunt; Hegazi will also get the chance to get inside the opponent half.
Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) - £10.0m
De Bruyne's passing range, vision, passing, crossing, intelligence, strength, and space creational will blow anyone's mind. At 10m he is pretty much the only guy in Manchester City squad who is certain to start regularly. Last season his role was more of CM than CAM or winger and still, he managed to grab 21 assists in the season making him the highest assist provider in the league. With striker force made of Gabriel Jesus and Aguero, this season won't be much different for him in giving points. He created a total of 184 chances in last two season. His main strengths are Key passes, Crossing, Taking set-pieces.
Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspurs) - £9.5m
In our view, Christian Eriksen makes the team, ahead of Dele Alli due to his assist chances and also goal scoring threat from outside the box. Eriksen has 111 attempted assists last season also registering 20 assists just 1 short behind Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne. He has also scored 8 goals most of them from outside the box. The debate may come whether to choose Eriksen over Alli is right or not but one thing can be sure of no one will disappoint you over the season so the choice is yours.
Alex Iwobi (Arsenal) - £5.5m
Wenger's favorite Alex Iwobi is being considered as the perfect budget midfielder. marked at only 5.5m Alex Iwobi will start surely. Passing, running across the wing positioning and holding the ball is his stronghold. Since it has been confirmed that Sanchez and Ozil won't be starting, the Nigerian youngster is sure to bring in bucket loads of fpl points. Finishing with 3 goals and 3 assists last season we are picking him in our squad
Luka Milivojevic (Crystal Palace) - £5.0m
Another team balancing pick and a sure starter. Luka Milivojevic had contributions in every pre season game that Crystal Palace had appeared. providing goals and assists from time to time. Although a defensive midfielder he will be taking set pieces and penalties. We clearly know the importance of set piece and penalty takers.
Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) - £8.5m
One of Klopp's favorite, Roberto Firmino can be a decent second striker. Liverpool has mixed openers but players like Firmino are fixture independent. Klopp's attacking style of play poses a threat to the best of the best defenses in Premier League. With 11 goals and 7 assists to his name, Firmino is a good choice if you have beefy defense and midfield and yet want a top flight striker in your team.
Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United) - £11.5m
A well proven premier league striker in a team with a fine midfield comprised of top tier players like Pogba Mkhitaryan. I literally can't see anything going wrong here. All those of us playing fantasy premier are well aware of Lukaku's hunger for scoring goals. The second highest goal scorer of last season scoring 25 goals is something you just can ignore. He also has managed to find his debut goal against Salt Lake City in the pre season friendlies.
Michy Batshuayi (Chelsea) - £8.5m
Started only 1 match and appeared from the sub for the remaining 19 matches. This will disappoint everyone. But the best part is he yet managed to find the net 5 times and assisted once. This is something you don't see every day. The Conte-Costa feud and the pre season line ups have convinced us that Michy Batshuayi will sure start this season, no doubt. Selected by only 1.9% of the total FPL players' population, the Belgian forward is the perfect differential that we were seeking for.
